Burns Court Cinema is a three-screen art house in an Old Florida–style building on Burns Lane, open since 1993 and home base of the Sarasota Film Society.
It's the place for independent, foreign and festival films that the multiplexes skip. Recent schedules have run Friday through Sunday, so check showtimes before you go.
Tips
- Park in the public lot on Orange Avenue or on Pineapple Avenue.
- Arrive early on weekends; the auditoriums are small.
